The San Pablo/San Jose Community Library was officially inaugurated on June 16th, 2010. Mr. Pablo Mesh served as the first Community Librarian, overseeing the library’s initial operations and services.
The development of the library was made possible through the generous support of the Belize Natural Energy Trust (BNET) in collaboration with the Belize National Library Service and Information System (BNLSIS).
The library building is designed to accommodate between 50 to 60 individuals, providing a spacious and welcoming environment for reading, studying, and community programs.
Ongoing support for the library comes from dedicated community members and local businesses. These donors contribute in various ways to the continued growth and sustainability of the library, reinforcing the strong community spirit that surrounds this important resource.
