The Hattieville Community Library began operating in the early 1980s in a small room within the Hattieville Community Center, under the management of Mrs. Castell Ysaguirre. This modest start marked the establishment of an important educational resource for the village, providing residents with access to books and a quiet space for reading.
A significant milestone was reached on June 10th, 2022, when the Hattieville Community Library was officially inaugurated in its new 20' x 30' metal building. The upgraded facility offers a more spacious and functional environment, allowing the library to better serve the growing needs of the community.
The library is currently managed by Community Librarian Mrs. Michelle Bainton Ebanks, who continues to ensure it remains a welcoming and accessible space for readers of all ages.
