Guinea Grass Community Library

The Guinea Grass Community Library was established as part of the Guinea Grass Multi-Purpose Centre Project, which aimed to provide essential community services to residents. Within this multi-room facility, a dedicated space was designated for the library. The library was officially inaugurated on March 12, 2014.

This important community initiative was made possible through the support of the Belize National Library Service, the Social Investment Fund (SIF), and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

Since its opening, the library has served as a vital resource for the entire village, offering a range of educational and recreational services for all age groups. With a seating capacity of 25 to 30 patrons, the space is often filled with the joyful presence of children engaged in reading and learning.

The Guinea Grass Community Library is staffed by one dedicated Community Librarian, Mrs. Joselyn Bustillos, who plays a key role in its day-to-day operations and community engagement.

The Guinea Grass Community Library continues to foster a love for reading, learning, and community connection, enriching the lives of those it serves.
